THE INSIDERS represent why all musicians get into music....to play music that THEY love, unbounded by record companies or managers. The amazing thing is THE INSIDERS (one of the top Philly area duo's) are true music lovers, and their music selection (and the audience response) shows it! THE INSIDERS consists of Scott McGinley, a singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist, and his wife and musical partner Vicky Chen-McGinley , also a vocalist and multi-instrumentalist. After 4 top ten hits in Asia and 3 record deals over the last 7 years, Scott has turned his focus to THE INSIDERS, and the Philadephia area. "In my last project we were famous throughout Asia, we had many videos on MTV and were playing concerts in front of 30,000 people" says Scott. I was also able to record with some pretty special people (legendary producer Keith Olsen [foreigner, fleetwood mac, pat benatar], and members of CHICAGO and SANTANA), but something was missing. Now I want to take that great experience and apply it to something more creative, and fun! THE INSIDERS are both a great party/ top 40 band, playing all the hits from the 50's to today, and also a surprisingly talented and prolific original music project. Vicky sums it up best saying "We really love music, and playing gives us a chance to be together and do what we love for a living!" |
